Our History
Keith Beier, founder of Kebco Inc., started his career in Orange County, California working for a small third party administrator selling payroll deduction products to federal employees in the early 70's. He then went to work for Blue Cross in their pilot program marketing health insurance through agents. At 19 years of age, he was the youngest agent Blue Cross had ever hired.
In 1977 Keith moved to Escondido to open the sales department for the newest Blue Cross district office on South Escondido Boulevard.
Over the next eight years, he was continuously honored as top salesman for his hard work, honesty and integrity . In both 1976 and 1982 he won the prestigious "President's Cabinet" award from Blue Cross. In 1983, he had gone out on his own and formed his own agency under the name Kebco Incorporated, doing business as Kebco Insurance Agency.
Fast forward to 2021, Keith’s oldest daughter of three, Ashley, followed in his footsteps and joined the team to continue the family legacy. Her experience includes over a decade of insurance, from personal to commercial lines.
Kebco Insurance Agency has grown from a small agency selling primarily Blue Cross products, to a full service agency offering a full spectrum of health, life, personal and commercial policies. The agency has consistently been San Diego County's premier producer for top insurance companies. Licensed to sell for over 40 carriers, the agency continues to market only the highest quality benefit plans available today.
